Musical Performance: Avery Island BCE + Sadie Wolfe

Avery Island BCE (AIBCE) is the musical project of songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist A Legendre (STEEF, jess joy, Butte). Dom Pump is a jenga of syncopated rhythms and lyrical themes exploring politics, art, and grief. It’s best described as art rock. Additional elements in jazz-fusion and post-punk territory make this debut release hard to pin down and spectacularly stand on its own. Dom Pump was primarily recorded in Legendre’s home studio between December 2021 and December 2025 and informed through collaboration with her community of musicians in New Orleans.
The AIBCE live band consists of Laura Fisher on vocals and synth, Violet Evie on guitar, Joë Laborde on electric bass, and Shannon Paine-Jesam on drums who all shape the project’s live sound.
Sadie Wolfe is a cellist from Austin, TX who is expanding the genre of amplified, alternative cello playing. Sadie is a member of the band Batty Jr., a psychedelic rock group often described as high-pitch, barely audible screeches that they project onto walls in order to locate objects in a room.
